The fitness lab is the most uplifting and positive gym I have ever been apart of.
The trainers are all so optimistic and fun, they always take my requests seriously and help me strive for my goals.
Not only do I feel the best I ever had, I have an understanding and appreciation of how to train correctly and safely. The gym itself is a great space to work in making you feel comfortable, with a great vibe. After my sessions and seeing the trainers and members, I genuinely come out feeling so positive and refreshed, taking that energy into the rest of my day!
Joining The Fitness Lab has been by far the best thing about 2020 for me. Like a lot of people I was really struggling during lockdown, working from home meant my activity levels were at an all time low and this was taking its toll on both my physical and mental health.
I can't thank the whole team enough, since joining I have not only lost over a stone but feel the healthiest and fittest I've been in years.
James goes above and beyond for every member of the gym, from finding ways to continue training us 1 to 1 during the most recent lockdown to checking in to see how we all are generally. On top of this every single member is so welcoming and from the off you feel part of the community that James has worked hard to build.
Before joining the Fitness Lab, I'd full-on accepted the 2020 lethargy and as a result was in the worst shape (both fitness and size) that I had ever been.
I'd tried going to a "normal" gym, and struggled with motivation, lack of space in classes (and lack of social distancing in them).
When I tried to take myself for a run, I felt riddled with injuries.
I knew a lot of it stemmed from inactivity and muscle fatigue.
During lockdown round 2, I decided enough was enough. I couldn't let this continue. I saw the fitness lab doing something novel, socially conscious, and safe, by taking their classes 1:1 outdoors, and I decided to give them a try. It's the best thing I did in 2020.
I've been a member just over a month now. The outdoor sessions were excellent, lifted my mood and got me back to fitness. Now we're indoors it's even better.
I'm sleeping better, eating better, and a couple of weeks ago I ran my first 5K without pain in years. I'm losing weight, my clothes are looser, and I feel stronger.
Most importantly, instead of avoiding going to the gym, I look forward to it.

Brilliant gym and for all shapes, sizes and abilities. I lost 20lbs with Jimmy over an 8 week programme. Fitness and diet combined. It really works if you are committed and want the results. Nice atmosphere, lovely clientele who make everyone feel welcome. Great place
The Fitness Lab has been a revelation for me, particularly during lock down.
I have been a member now for about three years and have lost over 10 kilos, reduced my waist size from 38 to 34 and am fitter than I have been for probably 30 years.
I could not recommend James and his team of instructors highly enough, they are extremely positive, knowledgeable and very encouraging, a dream team to be certain.
The other members also make the sessions great fun, they are a wonderful bunch of individuals friendly, engaging and on many occasions a laugh a minute.

Excellent, well equipped, private gym. After following the eight week “Ditch the flab” course, with exercises tailored to suit my age and ability I lost 12 lbs. Weight loss and overall improved fitness continue as I have remained a member enjoying
